Analysis and planning
Design Report
The written report generated from a finished design: sections, colour palette, cost model, currency, PDF export and persistence.
A Design Report turns a generated image into an actionable plan. It is created once per design, saved with that design, and reopens instantly afterwards — including from History on another device or in the web app.
Sections
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Style profile & assessment | What the design is and why it works, in a designer’s voice |
| Colour palette | Named colours with hex values, measured from the image itself |
| Before and after | A list of what changed relative to your original photo |
| Recommendations | 5–7 prioritised, specific improvements |
| Cost estimate | Budget, mid-range and premium versions of the same design |
| Cost breakdown | Ranges per category — flooring, furniture, lighting, decor and so on |
| Action plan | Ordered steps tagged quick win, weekend job or project |
| Redesign handoffs | Shortcuts back into the tools to act on a recommendation |
Colour palette
The palette is extracted on your device from the actual pixels of the generated image and then named by the AI. The hex values are real measurements, which is what makes the palette page useful at a paint counter.
Currency and cost model
Estimates are priced in your own currency, resolved from your device region, and formatted for your locale. They are planning-grade ranges that exclude local labour rates, delivery, waste removal, permits and tax treatment. Reports written before local-currency pricing was introduced keep the amounts they were created with.
Export and sharing
- Branded multi-page PDF with the DecorAI header and the export date
- A single share card for messaging or social posts
- The report stays attached to the design in History
