Why was my image or request blocked?

Updated August 19, 2026

Short answer

DecorAI runs automated safety checks on the uploaded photo, the written instruction and the generated result. A block usually means the photo’s subject is a person, the image is not a room or space, or the instruction asked for content outside what DecorAI generates. Retake the photo of the space itself and describe the room rather than people.

What to try

  1. 1Photograph the empty space rather than someone standing in it.
  2. 2Make sure the frame reads as a room — include floor, walls and some ceiling.
  3. 3Remove wording about people from your instruction and describe the space instead.
  4. 4If the photo is very dark or ambiguous, retake it with the lights on.

Incidental people and depicted people — a family photo on the wall, a portrait, a face on the television, a reflection — are normally allowed. If one of those does trigger a block, crop it out and try again.
