Can I use DecorAI offline?

Short answer

No. Generating a design requires an internet connection because the AI models run on DecorAI’s servers, not on your phone. Browsing designs you already saved to your device works offline, but new generations, History sync and Moodboard sync all need a connection.

One part does run on your device: colour palette extraction for Moodboards and Design Reports reads the actual pixels locally, which is why it is instant.

On a weak connection, upload time dominates the wait. Wi-Fi makes generations feel noticeably faster even though the AI takes the same time.
