Short answer

A DecorAI design is usually ready in under 10 seconds and often in about 5. During periods of peak demand a generation can take 20 to 60 seconds. Pro subscribers get priority processing, and every finished design is saved to History automatically.

DecorAI routes each request across several AI image providers running the same underlying model. If one provider is busy or unavailable, the request automatically moves to another instead of failing — which is why generations stay fast even when one service is degraded.

What makes a generation slower

Peak demand across all users
Very large input photos on a slow connection (the upload is part of the wait)
Two-image workflows such as Furniture Import, which process both photos
AI Room Analysis and Design Report, which write text and can take longer than an image

On iPhone, a Live Activity shows generation progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can leave the app while it works.
