Can I use real-estate listing photos or photos I did not take?

Short answer

Yes, DecorAI works well with professional listing photos, and estate agents use them constantly for staging and restyling. Only upload images you have the right to use — your own photos, your own listings, or images you have permission to edit.

Professional property photography is usually well lit, level and wide, which is exactly what the AI likes. That is why staging results from listing photos often look better than results from casual phone snaps.

Photographs are usually owned by the photographer or the agency that commissioned them. Do not upload someone else’s listing photos, or images you found online, unless you have permission to use and modify them.

If you are publishing a virtually staged image in a property listing, disclose that the furniture was added digitally.
