Can I plan a real renovation with DecorAI?

Short answer
Yes, as the first stage. DecorAI is excellent for deciding what you want and explaining it to a builder — a photo-accurate visual, a named colour palette and a prioritised action plan. It is not a substitute for measured drawings, structural advice or a builder’s quotation.
What to hand to a contractor
- The before-and-after image, so the intent is unambiguous
- The Design Report PDF, especially the palette page with hex values
- The per-category cost breakdown, as a starting point for the quote conversation
- A clear statement that the image is a concept, not a specification
Anything structural — removing walls, moving windows, changing a roofline — must be assessed by a qualified professional. A generated image is not evidence that a change is possible or permitted.
