Can I import images from Pinterest or Instagram?

Short answer

Yes. DecorAI can bring an image directly from a Pinterest pin or an Instagram post into the app instead of you screenshotting it. The imported image can be used as a Style Transfer reference, saved to a Moodboard, or used as the starting point for a new design.

  1. 1Open the pin or post in Pinterest or Instagram.
  2. 2Use the app’s share option and choose DecorAI ("Add to DecorAI Moodboard" to save it to a board).
  3. 3Pick the board, or continue straight into a design.

Screenshotting a pin loses resolution and adds interface elements. Importing keeps the original image, which produces a noticeably better Style Transfer.

Inspiration images stay in your private board. Only use images you have the right to use, and remember that a generated design based on an inspiration photo is a new image, not a copy of the original.
